Well, the house here on Long Island is far from sold but we're hoping that all changes and we're out of here in a matter of a couple months rather than later. Meanwhile, we have to be prepared (as the scouts say though I was only a cub scout for a few months). So, off we go this week to Charleston, and more specifically just to the north side of the river to Mt. Pleasant, SC. Hopefully our new home in a few months. Things to do include open a bank account, get a post office box, look at neighborhoods (I'm sure a few look better online than in person. Just like brochures for vacation spots. The pool's never that big, or surrounded by blondes in bikinis, the room's always smaller with a stain on the carpet, and you can't hear the noise from the highway outside.) and meet up with a few friends from Charleston and even those coming up from Jacksonville. Oh, and we plan to enjoy as we explore. The people, the food and the warm weather. Hopefully it will all only make us hungry for more. So, as the weatherman hee in NY is predicting chilly with a chance of a flurry, we'll be packing for some warm fun with warm people.
Meanwhile, hey St Joseph, can you do your thing to get us a buyer?
